Why I built this (and who is behind it)

I am a developer with a strong backend background: APIs, data validation, automation, logging, and the kind of internal utilities teams rely on every day. Over the years, the same pattern kept showing up — engineers losing minutes (sometimes hours) on small, repeatable jobs: formatting JSON for a ticket, checking a hash, converting units for a spec, or cleaning text before it lands in a CMS. Those tasks are rarely "hard," but they interrupt flow, and context switching is expensive.

TonuDevTool exists to solve that user problem directly: one place with fast, predictable helpers you can open in a tab, use immediately, and close when you are done. The goal is not to replace your editor or your cloud stack — it is to remove friction for the micro-work that still has to happen between bigger decisions. Each utility is designed around a clear input-to-output loop so you can trust the result and move on. When something is confusing in the real world, I prefer to fix the tool or the copy rather than add noise.

This is a curated project, not a faceless content farm. I maintain the catalog, improve reliability, and listen to feedback from the contact page. Display ads (Google AdSense) help cover hosting and development time; they are separate from the tools themselves, and the interactive parts of the site are built so your work stays in the browser session you control. If you have a feature request or a bug, I read those messages — they shape what gets built next.

Quality tools should not be locked behind paywalls for basic tasks. I expand the library and refine existing utilities based on real usage and messages from visitors.
